Wearit is a system for tracking, memorising and analysing every type of sporting activity.
It yields unique sports metrics exploiting the capabilities of data fusion as well as of GPS, taking enjoyment and performance to a higher level.
Its first project is UPSKI, with the development of the technology for an “intelligent” ski boot capable of analysing not only the quantitative but also the qualitative data of a ski run.
At the prize-giving ceremony on 5th February 2020 in Milan, the winning proposals nominated for the 4 competing categories of the 1st edition of the Lagazuoi Winning Ideas Mountain Awards were announced.
The three award-winning projects of each category will be exhibited until 30th June 2020 at the Lagazuoi Expo Dolomiti, the innovative exhibition and conference centre on Mt. Lagazuoi in Cortina d'Ampezzo.

INFORMATION CONCERNING ART.13 EU Regulations 2016/679
Please read carefully the information below, which is In conformity with art.13 of EU Regulations 2016/679 (subsequently part of the GDPR) and with Legislative Decree 196/2003 (and subsequent modifications thereto).

The data here gathered have been voluntarily provided by you (hereinafter referred to as “the applicant") and will be processed for the following purposes:
a) the transmission of information about the initiatives and events organised and/or promoted by Lagazuoi S.p.A., also for third party clients;
b) the communication of the data to third party societies for sending to newsletters and communications for marketing purposes;
c) the Interaction with social networks and external platforms;
d) the handling of data collection data collection for online surveys.
Data are gathered on the basis of the explicit consent of the applicant, expressed by signing the form herein or by ticking the appropriate box online.

The provision of personal data and contact details is absolutely necessary for the carrying out of the activities referred to in point 2. Failure to provide the data required for the completion of the form will make it impossible to access the desired service or to receive the information requested.

Data processing is by means of manual, computerised and telematic instruments with a rationale closely correlated to the purpose for which they have been gathered, in full compliance with the law and observing the principles of lawfulness, correctness and confidentiality, in compliance with which specific security measures are adopted to prevent the loss of data, their illicit or improper use and non-authorised access to them. Data may be processed by data protection officers, expressly authorised in the context of the above mentioned purposes.
5. LOCATION OF DATA PROCESSING
As well as at the premises of the data protection officer herein, data connected to the services required may be processed at the premises of suppliers of external services t by designated data protection officers.
6. COMMUNICATION and DIFFUSION OF DATA
Those with the right to access the data include external consultants and suppliers of services, duly nominated as data protection officers in conformity with the purpose for which the data have been gathered and with a view to fulfilling the contractual obligations undertaken. Data may also be communicated to all subjects authorised by law to gather the related data.
7. DATA CONSERVATION TIMES
The data of the applicant are conserved only for the time strictly necessary for the carrying out of the activities indicated, in compliance with the legislation applicable, and will in any case not be retained beyond a period of five years, unless their conservation results as being justified and authorised. The applicant will in any case have the possibility to revoke, at any moment, his consent to the processing of his data. Any data transmitted to suppliers of services will be processed and retained by the latter for the time strictly necessary for the carrying out of the tasks assigned to them.
8. RIGHTS OF THE APPLICANT
The applicant has the following rights and power of action in relation to the data provided by him: a) to be informed of the purposes and the procedures of the processing of his data; b) to have access to them; c) to be able to update and rectify them; d) to cancel them, render them anonymous or block them; e) to object to the processing of the data, including opposition to automatised decisional processes, also concerning profiling; f) to revoke his consent; g) to receive his personal details disclosed to the data protection officer in a structured format in common use, so as to be able to send them to various parties; h) to limit the processing of his data; i) to present a complaint to the controlling Authority. The said rights may be exercised by contacting the data protection officer directly at the above mentioned address; he will undertake to render the procedure as simple as possible.
