Industrial designer and founder of Delineodesign, Giampaolo Allocco has been honored with over 50 international awards, including the prestigious Honourable Mention at the Compasso d'Oro 2024 and the recent ProWinter Award 2025 for the third year running. At 26, he designed his first Formula 1 and has been exhibiting his work in prestigious international venues ever since, including Frankfurt, Tokyo, Essen, Milan, Rome, Pesaro and Chicago. Numerous dissertations and publications have been dedicated to his career and his design approach. After graduating with honours from the Italian School of Design in Padua, under the guidance of professors from the Scuola Politecnica di Milano, Giampaolo distinguished himself as a speaker in courses, workshops and conferences at leading Italian design universities, sharing his accumulated experience in industrial and sports design. At the helm of Delineodesign, a studio located in Montebelluna, in the heart of the World Sport System District, he collaborates with leading international sports brands and expands his range of action to highly attractive sectors such as furniture, lighting design, food, garden and digital. From ski boot design to helicopters, his work spans an extraordinarily wide range of disciplines. In addition to his career as a designer, Giampaolo Allocco served as a Lieutenant-Officer of the Alpine troops at the Alpine Military School in Aosta, where he managed Alpine troops and participated in ski championships reserved for military forces.
He was born in Milan three years before the first issue of the biweekly magazine Sciare (1 December 1966), dedicated to skiing and winter sports, was released. At seven, his father Massino (founder of Sciare) took him to see the Italian Alpine Ski Championship. The entire Italian national alpine ski team, the so-called Valanga Azzurra, was there. He returned home and decided that there was nothing more beautiful than skiing. At the age of 14, he became the delivery guy of the editorial staff, at 16 he wrote a column dedicated to stickers, at 19 he joined the editorial staff, at the age of 21, he divided his time between ski gear and the Ski World Cup. In 1987 he invented the buying guide Guida Tecnica all’Acquisto, and in 1988 the snowboard magazine OnBoard.
In 1997, he set up the website www.sciaremag.it, In 1998 he created the Fis Carving Cup with Giulio Rossi. After 8 world championships and 5 Olympic games, in 2001 he became the Editor-in-Chief of the magazine, a position he still holds today.
Consultant for the consumer goods sector. He is Chairman at the EPSI (European Platform for Sport Innovation) and was professor for Design and Management at the IUAV - Institute of Architecture at the University of Venice.
Furthermore, he holds conferences and lectures at numerous European and international universities.
From 1977 to 2019, he was the director in charge of the Research and Product Development department for Tecnica Spa and was responsible for concept, design, testing and production for the market launch of several sports and leisure products. The owner of more than 40 international patents, he is a member of the working group for European and Italian research projects. He specializes in Marketing, Branding and Product.
Paolo Paci was born and lives in Milan. For over fifty years, however, he has dreamed of the mountains and visits them whenever possible, as a mountaineer, journalist and writer. He has published over twenty books, including photographic volumes, guides, travel stories and novels. His mountaineering essays include "4810. Storie e segreti del Monte Bianco - Stories and secrets of Mont Blanc"(Bancarella award); while his latest novel is "La Montagna delle iIlusioni - The mountain of illusions "(Mazzotti Gambrinus award). He is currently director of Meridiani and Meridiani Montagne, of the Edidomus publishing house.
Head of North-East Lombardy – BPER Banca Private Cesare Ponti. A professional with extensive experience in the banking sector, Mauro Toti began his career in 1989 at Banca Popolare di Bergamo and later at UBI, where he developed solid skills in Retail Banking, Corporate Banking and Private Banking. In 2021, he joined the BPER Group as Area Manager, and currently holds the role of Executive and Head of North-East Lombardy at BPER Banca Private Cesare Ponti, with responsibility for coordinating and managing the regional area.
Born in Cortina d’Ampezzo, where he currently lives, he is an engineer by profession. For several years he was engaged in municipal development and Institutional Building in various developing countries for NGOs, the World Bank, FAO and other organisations. He went on to become involved in the development of tourism in the mountains; he is a consultant at international level for the planning and development of ski resorts. He designed, planned and co-ordinated the creation of the Lagazuoi, Sasso di Stria and 5 Torri Great War Open-air Museum.
The designer of the Lagazuoi Expo Dolomiti, conceived as a means of valorising and promoting the values and culture of the mountains, currently is the president of the Cortina Delicious Consortium, councillor and CEO of various ski lift societies and consortiums in the Dolomites.
