In the Pontedilegno-Tonale ski area, at 2,600 meters above sea level at the foot of the Presena Glacier, in winter there is an ice and snow theatre, where resounds the music of instruments made with ice.
Here the Consortium and artist Tim Linhart have created the most exclusive music festival in the world. A high-level cultural and artistic endeavour in a particularly suggestive setting.
Many internationally renowned musicians already performed at the Ice Dome, an architectural marvel with 300 seats.
The performing artists are accompanied by the ParadICE orchestra, which fascinates the audience with instruments carved entirely out of ice, such as violins, violas, cellos, guitars, drums and a huge xylophone.
From January to March there are over 50 concerts of various musical genres on the program: from jazz, pop, rock to traditional music.
