These are the new values for the mountain territories.
Forms of tourism that satisfy the needs of travellers and the places where they stay, at the same time safeguarding and enhancing the opportunities for the future.
Each category was entrusted to a team of high-level experts who put together a list of the most interesting Italian and international projects.
The candidates in the "Mountain tourism and sustainability" category were nominated by:

Four juries were selected to determine the winners of each category. These juries were made up of university students from the specific areas of expertise and evaluated the selected projects under the supervision of a reference professor.
The entrants for the category "Mountain tourism and sustainability" were evaluated by the students of UNIMONT, co-ordinated by Prof. Anna Giorgi, director of the Departmental Centre of Applied Studies for the Sustainable Management and Safeguarding of the Mountains of the Università degli Studi of Milan.
On 5th February 2020, in Milan at the Enel Space, the first three winners of each category were announced and awarded.
Their projects were exhibited at Lagazuoi Expo Dolomiti during the ski season in a dedicated special exhibition at 2,778 meters above sea level.
