Clothing and Equipment - THE NOMINEES

MAESTRALE REMADE SKI BOOT

Company: SCARPA

This boot is made with RE-MADE POLYMER, a material derived from the production waste of the company's ski boots, carefully recovered and catalogued since 1995. The entire manufacturing process, developed by Scarpa Green Lab, makes it possible to produce a new generation of products that match the philosophy of low environmental impact as described in the 'Green Manifesto'. The production of one pair of Maestrale Re-Made ski boots allows for a 27% reduction in carbon dioxide emissions compared to the manufacturing process of the ‘traditional’ Maestrale version in Pebax Rnew, also a material of vegetable origin, which allows for a 32% reduction in emissions compared to plastics of fossil origin.
